Why does a Sweet Pepper, generally yellow or red, sometimes grow a small (mini-me) pepper inside?
In most cases one of the seeds has sprouted and thru a weird reaction makes the "mini-me" pepper, if the pepper stays on the plant "mini-me" will eventually grow out of the pepper so that you have a Pepper Plant coming out of a pepper on a pepper plant (sorry -couldn't resist that line).

Oncidium Sweet Ears, an easy to grow beginner orchid
USD 9.75 Oncidium Sweet Ears is a great orchid for beginners -- easy to grow and it puts out clouds of lovely yellow and brown flowers. It's similar to the famous "Dancing Lady" orchid. The breeding is Cyrtocidium Sweet Sugar x Oncidium Cloud Ears, but relax and forget all that orchid-speak. Just give it medium light and water, fertilize now and again and wait for it to bloom. As the plant matures, it will have more and more bloom spikes on each successive flowering. If you've always wanted to try growing an orchid but were a little nervous about it, this one is for you. It is a really nice mericlone of an exceptional plant called Onc. Sweet Ears 'Pacific Gold.' These orchids are near blooming size, freshly repotted into 4 inch pots.
