What happens to a 68 year old man convicted of attempted sexual assault of a minor?
We had a incident in our town involving a 68 year old man that tried to sexually assault a 10 year old girl. The police are still investigating and say this could take awhile to put the case together. This man lives very near our house. What will happen to him if convicted? Does he just get a slap on the wrist and go about his business?

He will get atleast 2 yrs in jail if he has no prior history and will have to register as a sex offender for atleast 10 yrs.
