Blue Japanese Wisteria Vine 5 Seeds - Hard to Find! Rare
USD 1.99
Japanese Wisteria (Wisteria floribunda). Japanese wisteria was brought from Japan to the United States in 1860 by George Rogers Hall. Since then, it has become one of the most highly romanticized flowering garden plants. It is also a common subject for bonsai, along with Wisteria sinensis(Chinese wisteria) The flowering habit of Japanese wisteria is perhaps the most spectacular of the Wisteria family. It sports the longest flower racemes of any wisteria; they can reach nearly half a meter in length. These racemes burst into great trails of clustered blue flowers in early- to mid-spring. The flowers carry a distinctive fragrance similar to that of grapes. Japanese wisteria can grow over 30m long over many supports via powerful clockwise-twining stems. The foliage consists of shiny, dark-green, pinnately compound leaves 10-30cm in length. The leaves bear 9-13 oblong leaflets that are each 2-6 cm long. It also bears brown, velvety, bean-like seed pods 5-10cm long that mature in summer and persist until winter. Japanese wisteria prefers moist soils and full sun in USDA plant hardiness zones 5-9. The plant often lives over fifty years.

Clematis Sweet Autumn Vine 15 Seeds -paniculata
USD 3.98
CLEMATIS: Always called the "Queen of Vines," nothing else makes the spectacular show of a clematis in full bloom. In almost all zones, these magnificent plants decorate mailboxes, trellises and porches with cascades of some of the most beautiful blooms in the flower kingdom, and they're not difficult to grow. There's no reason you can't add them to your landscape. The beautiful sweet autumn clematis is a vigorous semievergreen (or deciduous) vine than can climb up to 30 feet. The compound leaves are glossy and deep green. The star shaped white flowers are about an inch and a quarter across and sweetly fragrant. They are borne in numerous branching panicles from late summer through autumn. Vines can be so laden with billowy masses of white flowers that they look like they're covered with snow! The seed heads are pretty, too, with their silvery-gray featherlike styles. It is hardy in zones 4-9. There is an old saying with Clematis; "Tops in the sun and feet in the shade." In other words the vine blooms best in the sun and benefits from a cluster of small plants, planted around the base of the plant. Many people simply plant a ground cover like ivy, myrtle, or pachysandra around the plant to shade the base. Clematis does best in fertile, humus rich, well-drained soil. Mulch well with composted manure or compost. Feed once a month with a well balanced fertilizer during the growing season.
