Dwarf Fukushu Kumquat Tree, Five Gallon Container
USD 64.98 Venture out and be bold! Try something different, as the Fukushu kumquat is one you may not have heard much about, but one that is pretty good in its own right. We now have the Fukushu on dwarf root stock, so one gardeners with limited space can now consider. The dwarf fukushu would do excellent in container on balcony or deck for those in urban settings with no yard. Fruit that is a bit larger and a little more rounded than Nagami is one of the first things you'll notice. This kumquat variety has fruit that is oval and about one and one-half inches long, with a rind that is orange and thinner than Nagami or Meiwa. The soft peel on the Fukushu is sweet and edible, with the fruit juicy and refreshing. These kumquats have only a few seeds, with orange acidic flesh and 5-8 segments. The fruit from this kumquat variety is the first to ripen, usually starting between Oct and March, and most readily available for early Chinese New Years. Clip to any desired size or shape. Don't buy the cheap imitations get the real Tree Bark Repair Tape by Thompson's Tape has no sticky residue the tape bonds to itself + not the tree but yet protects the tree with a tight long lasting seal + bugs + deer do not like this tape If you have missing bark by external damage or even if a deer has rubbed the bark off your tree in most cases where your tree bark is missing it will stop the flow of food and nutrients from the roots up + it will dry out + die. The sooner you get at trying to save the tree the better chances you have of saving it. I was born in the mountains + I know a lot about trees, tree bark + deer, which damage trees constantly because that is what deer do. I've noticed deer seem to pick out a few trees + try + rub their horns against those same trees. So not only does this tape give you a real good shot of saving the tree it becomes a deterrent from deer horns made of about the same as bone + they use trees to rub the velvet off their horns A lot of times just to show there a buck look at me rub my horns + shake the tree. They like the sound, the power they show by rubbing trees with their horns + they use the tree to take the velvet off but when this tape is on the tree it no longer has a rough service + it's not good for rubbing velvet off the deer horns + it does not give deer that sound from the rough surface from the bark, so they leave the tree + find another. I treated my special tape with environmentally friendly insect repellent because insects kill trees when the bark is missing. Colors green or clear tape both mix in with outdoors well, the clear tape looks white in the picture but what is considered clear + it's pretty clear, you will get green or clear tape!
