Tier Plant
I have a pond in my back yard and I am wondering what Fish, Frogs or Turtles I would be able to put in it.?
My pond is 4.5 feet by 3 feet, 2 feet deep, with a second tier that is 3 feet by 2 feet and also almost 2 feet deep. I am just trying to find out what type of Fish Frogs and Turtles would be able to adapt to this. I have also landscaped all around the pond with Plants that give it more of a Pond/ Nature atmosphere. Any answers would be appreciated.

what kind of goldfish do you like?
This will give you an idea of the kinds of fancy goldfish, all can be put into ponds. (single tailed + double tailed on the menu bar)

You will need some snails, Japanese Trapdoor do the best in ponds.
Some bug detail in the form of minnows or bitterlings, depending on which they will keep down mosquito population as well as parasites.
You can buy tadpoles too or go on a hunt for frogs at a local pond and bring them back to yours.. you will want to make sure your pond is cycled with good bacteria so that it can support frogs though.
As far as turtles, to keep the turtle in you would need an edging all the way around the pond, which will take away from it's natural look. I would stick with the goldfish and frogs personally. Especially if you are wanting a natural look.
The turtle will also harass your fish, unless you have large Koi that it definitly won't view as food since many of the larger one would be bigger then the turtle.
