Thyme Creeping

Thyme Creeping
Purple Wintercreeper, Evergreen Vinca, Magic Carpet Thyme, Periwinkle, or Creeping Red Sedum?

Which do you prefer for a 30ft x 6ft Ground Cover? It will be next to the walkway from driveway to front door.
What about asian ivy?

Creeping red sedum would be great. It will spread but not be to aggressive and would give you the color you need. You wont need to mow it like periwinkle. Winter creeper could be a hazard because of the way it roots and be a tripping hazard.Thyme for me tends to grow kind of spotty and leaves too many bare patches and looks messy.

Growing Concerns: Hollow potatoes? Blame Mother Nature
We really had a bumper crop of potatoes from our garden This Year. One of our favorites is Kennebec, but this year so many had a hollow spot inside. What causes this and can I prevent this another year?

Plants for shady areas include coleus, ferns, and hosta. Thyme Creeping Use junipers, grasses and conifers in sunny areas. Thyme Creeping To augment plantings use green wood stain on fences and buildings. It is a popular colour for garden furniture, umbrellas, glazed pots, garden ornaments.
