Burning Bush - 400 Seeds
USD 8.99 Dictamnus fraxinella is a unique and lovely perennial that can be grown from seed. Burning Bush or Gas Plant are the common names, and the names are given because with the right conditions the plant secretes a flammable oil. When a flame is put near the plant, it can ignite without any damage to the plant. It does produce showy 5-petalled blooms in late spring that are carmine-rose in color and have a pleasant fragrance. Burning Bush likes a full sun or partial shade position in the garden, and well-drained, rich, organic soil that is somewhat alkaline is preferred. The seed needs a cold treatment in order to break dormancy. Dampen a paper towel, place the seeds on the towel, roll it up and seal it in a plastic ziploc bag. Place the bag in the refrigerator for 6 ? 8 weeks. After the cold treatment sow the seeds and lightly cover with peat moss or garden sand. Keep the seed moist and at a temperature of 72F. Germination can be slow and erratic.

Asparagus Pea - 100 Seeds
USD 4.99 Tetragonolobus pupureus, commonly called Asparagus Pea or Winged Pea, is an herbaceous annual legume. It's a very lovely vegetable! It is native to southern Europe around the Mediterranean, and it grows in the wild. It reaches 20 inches in height and 24 inches in width, and it has crimson colored flowers that are formed in pairs. The pods that come afterwards are winged and grow 3 - 4 inches long, and they can be prepared in a variety of ways: boiled, sautéed, steamed, deep fried or pickled. The flowers are edible as well and can be used as a garnish. In the spring, start the seed directly outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Press the seed into the soil, cover with ¼ inch of soil, and keep it moist. With a temperature range of 65 - 75F, germination is normally within 21 days. Space the seeds 4 inches apart and the rows 18 inches apart.
