Growing Corn indoors?
My husband and I have started all of our vegetables and plants indoors and don't know what to do about our Corn. We planted it in Seed Starter cells about 2-3 weeks ago, but we didn't realize they would grow so quickly! The stalks vary in size of course, but the tallest one we have is about 6" in height and the roots on many of them have already poked through the bottom of the cell!
We live in zone 6 and will not be able to plant them outdoors for another few weeks, so what do we do!?
We have placed the entire cluster of cells in a deep tray filled with soil that we water so the roots can still grow and absorb moisture, but is there anything else we can do for them? Will this work?
