Arizona spring assisted blade: can I carry this knife?
I know that I can buy and own this knife but is it legal for me to carry it in my pocket for self defense and tool purposes? Please note that the blade is three inches making it a pocket knife but it is spring assisted. The link is http://www.bladeplay.com/item--Blue-Scorpion-Flare--6441
Arizona laws prohibit deadly weapons EXCEPT pocket knives to be concealed on person. You should be fine as long as you dont take it across state lines (illegal to carry a switch blade across state lines unless delivering to a person for intended military use) and dont take it into a federal building (illegal to carry a blade longer than 2.5")
Otherwise it is completely legal to both possess and carry.
