Lychnis coronaria - Rose Campion
USD 3.99

Rose campion is a clump-forming perennial which is perhaps grown as much for its basal clumps of ovate, densely woolly, silver-gray leaves as for its vivid rose magenta flowers Flowers bloom profusely on smaller-leafed, gray stems rising 2-3' tall. Lengthen bloom period with deadheading. Care - Rose campion is easy to grow in poor, dry soils. It does well in limey soils and actually may do better and live longer in poor soils than in rich, loamy soils. Best in full sun but tolerates partial shade - tolerates dry soils and droughty conditions.
