USD 22.00 These 1 gallon sapphire duranta plants are known for their lovely purple blooms that attract butterflies and bees. Hardy in USDA Zones 9- 11. (Can be brought through the winter in Zone 8 if it is well protected and mulched- there will be some damage to the leaves with a heavy freeze, but they generally fall off or can be cut off for new growth.) These plants only reach a height of 2 to 6 feet and 2 to 4 feet wide. Will grow in full sun to partial shade. These generally bloom all year but may be intermittent throughout the year. The measurements on the plants will vary a little but will be close to 6 inches tall and 20 inches wide. (These plants are measured from the top of the root ball to the top of the plant!) The plants are left in the pots until shipment time, then they are pulled from the pot, wrapped in plastic with some of the dirt mixture to keep it somewhat moist and packaged to ship. They will ship USPS Priority mail that day. I do only ship live plants on Monday and Tuesday and occasionally on Wednesday so they arrive to you before the weekend! Some of the plants you receive may still have some white residue on them from the last spray to control the fungus, pests, and to fertilize the plants.
