1 Gallon Pampas Grass Cortaderia selloana 2 Feet Tall Plant
USD 22.00 They are hardy in USDA Zones 8 to 10. They can reach 12 feet in height and 6 feet wide when full grown. They will grow best in full sun but will tolerate partial shade. They will bloom their white soft plume beginning in summer and lasting through some of the winter. Caution with this plant: The grass can cut like a knife if you get too close!! The measurements on the plants will vary a little but each will be 24 inches tall and 12 inches wide. (Please note the measurements are from the top of the root ball to the top of the plant). The pictures show one of the actual plants that will ship. The plants are left in the pots until agreement and payment to purchase has been received. Then they are pulled from the pot, wrapped in plastic with some of the dirt mixture to keep it somewhat moist and packaged to ship. They will ship USPS Priority mail that day. I do only ship live plants on Monday and Tuesday and occasionally Wednesday if your address is close so they arrive to you before the weekend! Please be sure that after you receive the tracking information that you have someone to receive the package so it does not sit in the hot sun and bake in the box all day! We are licensed in the state of Georgia as a nursery and are inspected as such. Because it is so large, it can be used to create natural screens or borders, and it adds grace and beautiful textures to any landscape. In the late summer, large blooms appear that resemble fluffy feather dusters. They are silver white in color and make great additions to fresh or dried arrangements. Pampas Grass needs full sun and well-drained soil. If the plant does not receive enough sun, the growth will be slow, and possibly it will not produce the showy plumes.
