60 ~ PINK ~ Morning Glory Flower Seeds ` NICE Showy Flowers, Extended Blooms
USD 1.00

~ ~ ~ WE OFFER BOTH PKT. & BULK SIZES ~ ~ ~ Morning Glory - Pink Morning glory was first known in China for its medicinal uses, due to the laxative properties of its seeds. It was introduced to the Japanese in the 9th century, and they were first to cultivate it as an ornament. A rare brownish-coloured variant known as Danjuro is very popular. During the Edo Period, it became a very popular ornamental flower. Ancient Mesoamerican civilizations used the morning glory species Ipomoea alba to convert the latex from the Castilla elastica tree and also the guayule plant to produce bouncing rubber balls. The sulfur in the morning glory's juice served to vulcanize the rubber, a process pre-dating Charles Goodyear's discovery by at least 3,000 years. Aztec priests in Mexico were also known to use the plant's hallucinogenic properties. (see Rivea corymbosa). Spectacular blue flowers make Heavenly Blue Morning Glory our most popular climbing vine. Loves to "show off" on a trellis, fence, or arbor. After growing, you will see why this morning glory is called "HEAVENLY". Best when planted on east side of the house in full or partial sun. Astilbe Chinensis Pumila - 1000 Seeds
USD 4.99

Pumila Astile Chinensis flower seed is the most versatile Astilbe we know! Foliage is deeply incised, coarsely textured, and often bronze-green in color. This petite, rosy-pink variety grows just 8 to 10 inches high and wide in the shade and doesn't start blooming until most others have stopped! Astilbe are clump-forming perennials which feature graceful, fern-like mounds of mostly basal, 2 - 3 ternately compound leaves, usually with sharply-toothed leaflets, and tiny flowers densely packed into erect to arching, plume-like flower panicles rising above the foliage on slender, upright stems. Many of the cultivars of Astilbe flower seed are dwarf and can be used as a tall ground cover, as an edging or in the front of the perennial flower garden border. Like other astilbes it prefers a moist soil; however, it does tolerate dryness better than other astilbes. Pumila is a neat, very easy-to-grow plant.
