My parents have retired When they recently bought 60 acres of land. Home Because they use the building only a few acres Planning a barn and a miniature greenhouse with me, they I will rest for the land, I have to start my own business Use of land, but what does it matter if I do not know. I was thinking of my own to grow crops, but the orchid soil After a certain portion of land to grow seem to hold the water, but We havn't yet to test the soil to use it. Land Hillside to the south in the direction toward the bay and close to major cities No, what is reasonable, I can do business with?

Slc. Barefoot Mailman cattleya orchid hybrid large seedling
USD 15.99

Easy to grow and easy to bloom, this Cattleya hybrid orchid will produce stunning yellow and red flowers. And it seems to us the name alone is worth five bucks. This orchid produces Fourth of July fireworks-spectacular flowers, with chip flares of red and orange over bright yellows in the sepals and petals. AND you get shut-up-and-kiss-me red lips. These are large seedlings to near blooming size, in 2.5 inch pots. They stand about 9 inches high measured from the bottom of the pot. We have a bunch of them and we always ship the largest. We think you could see first flowers in about 18 to 24 months or so. The parentage here is L. briegeri x Madge Fordyce. This one is a mericlone. These are considered miniatures, so they won't take up a lot of space. You will want to repot in six months or so. The first picture shows a typical flower; the second picture shows the kind of plants you are purchasing. Allow to dry completely between waterings. Morning sun and then bright shade. Fertilize weakly weekly. A mature plant like this in bloom at an orchid show would cost $50 or more, so be patient, grow it up and enjoy. Oh, the barefoot mailman was the postal carrier who had a route along the beachfront in Hawaii, or so we are told.
