Hardy in USDA Zones 8- 11. (Can be brought through the winter in Zone 7 if it is well protected and mulched, but they die to the ground and begin regrowth in spring.) In cooler winter climates, these plants can be brought indoors to stay alive through the winter and then placed back outdoors when the last freeze has passed. These plants only reach a height of 6 to 9 inches and up to 1 foot wide. Will grow in full sun to partial shade. These generally bloom during the spring & summer months and into fall. The measurements on the plants will be 5 inches tall and 12 inches wide. (These plants are measured from the top of the root ball to the top of the plant!) The plants are left in the pots until agreement and payment to purchase has been received. Then they are pulled from the pot, wrapped in plastic with some of the dirt mixture to keep it somewhat moist and packaged to ship. They will ship USPS Priority mail that day. I do only ship live plants on Monday and Tuesday and occasionally on Wednesday so they arrive to you before the weekend! Please be sure that after you receive the tracking information that you have someone to receive the package so it does not sit in the hot sun and bake in the box all day! We are licensed in the state of Georgia as a nursery and are inspected as such. Some of the plants you receive may still have some white residue on them from the last spray to control the fungus, pests, and to fertilize the plants. This residue is normal and will wear off in time. We guarantee that our plants will arrive alive to your destination if removed immediately upon arrival. We're sorry, but we do not ship these plants to California, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico due to restrictions by their Departments of Agriculture. Due to numerous postal problems, we now require all of our plants to ship with insurance so that price is also included!

This plant can take the heat
Here we are at the tail end (hopefully) of one of the most brutal summers in recent memory. Amazingly, there are some plants that haven’t skipped a beat with all of the heat and are still looking fabulous.
Plants for shady areas include coleus, ferns, and hosta. Mexican Petunia Use junipers, grasses and conifers in sunny areas. Mexican Petunia To augment plantings use green wood stain on fences and buildings. It is a popular colour for garden furniture, umbrellas, glazed pots, garden ornaments.
