Why did lemon juice sting my face?
So I have this new skin regimen 3x's a week at night.. I use:
Aveeno cleanser with sugar to exfoliate
Rinse with warm water
Queen Helene Mint Masque for 15 mins
Rinse with warm water, then with cool water
I squeeze lemon juice unto a cotton roll and rub it all over my face as a toner
Then I put vitamin E oil all over my face
My skin is so supple right now, but why do it sting when i put on the lemon.. Is it because my pores may be open? What can I do to stop it from stinging, because I hear its good to tone skin and fades acne scars?

Lemon has citric acid in it, you would be better off using Witch hazel as a toner.
TBH I am surprised the mint mask didn't bother you, I used that after exfoliating and steaming and literally burned my skin.

Sunflower - Lemon Queen - 1/4 LB
USD 6.99 Attracting birds and butterflies, this sunflower seed produces a central stalk and blooms up to 12 inches and then several side shoots each with their own lemon yellow blooms. Lemon queen gets between 5-6 feet tall and will produce their blooms in about 100 days. Direct sow sunflower flower seeds in early spring after the danger of frost has passed. Germination normally is between 7-10 days. Can be sown as late as 100 days before killing frost. Requires full sun, adapted to a wide range of soil types, but prefers well drained soil with a ph range between 6.5 - 7.5. Fertilizer should coincide with plants needs & general health. If needed apply fertilizer at a rate of 2 - 21/2 lbs of actual nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. as a side dressing before the plants reach 1 foot in height. These easy-to-grow sunflowers should be thinned to 18 - 24 inches apart and sown after the last frost.
