The copper used in our tools is 1/4 hard copper which is much harder and wear-resistant than the standard copper you are probably familiar with. Even though these tools are made from hardened copper they are not as rugged as steel tools and therefore will acquire dings and dents from working the soil. Why are the tools so heavy? Will my copper tools turn green over time? No, they will not turn green unless you left them outside in the weather so the acid rain could get them over time.
