Cymbidium Mighty Remus 'Vintage' HCC/AOS orchid blooming size in 3.5 inch pot USD 16.99
These orchids will produce beautiful flowers that come out in shades of bright orange to an orange-bronze -- just lovely. This one should be more orange. The breeding on Cym Mighty Remus is Cymbidium Remus x Cymbidium Mighty Mouse. This is a clone of the award winner. The judges described the flowers this way: "Thirty-eight flowers and 34 buds on five inflorescences; base color cream, overlaid with cinnamon suffusions and darker cinnamon lateral stripes; lip with oxblood band ..." These are blooming size, likely to flower within 12 months or so. They stand about 30 inches high measured from the bottom of the pot. They have two or more good-size pseudobulbs. These are full-size cyms, so they will develop into large plants. These can have 7 to 10 flowers or more on a single spike. Mature plants can have four or five spikes. Grow these in moderately bright indirect light. Keep moist, especially if it's hot. Fertilize twice a month, rather weakly. You pretty much can't go wrong. We include free growing instructions. The picture shows the kind of flowers to expect, and one of the plants. We'll pick out a nice one for you and ship in the pot. You can repot on arrival, but we recommend keeping in the grow pot until the pseudobulbs actually break the pot. You can buy with confidence. We guarantee customer satisfaction on arrival.
