USD 230.32 Contractor Handrail System is a 100% aluminum mechanical handrail system designed for quick and efficient installation. Designed to meet the stringent commercial condo industry; yet friendly enough for the homeowner looking to add a quality railing system to their home. Contractor Handrail may be used on ground floor, stairs, and multi-story balcony applications. Please check with your local building dept to verify the size requirement for your specific use application. Contractor Handrail is a maintenance free 100% aluminum product which allows property owners the freedom to relax and enjoy their outdoor environment without the worry of scraping and painting like traditional wood and steel railings may require. Lengths available are 6', and 8' lengths, 36" and 42" tall, ships within 24 hours of ordering. Kit includes: Mushroom Cap, top snap, bottom channel, 1" pickets, hardware, post mounts for top and bottom rail, and fully illustrated instructions. System meets current 2006 and 2009 IBC requirements. For Salt spray environments we recommend stainless fasteners, we can provide a quote for these by simply calling our office. Contractor Handrail System is pre-drilled for your convenience and can be cut to any size or angle required. For stair and angle applications please look at our stair and angle kits (Part# ESK).
