Can I split My fan Palm Tree?
Ok, So I have done research and have not had any luck. I have a beautiful (baby) Fan palm.. It is leaning a bit to one side because it's getting to heavy. Is it possible That I split it in the middle, and replant both in different pots?

Chinese Fan Palm 10 Seeds - Livistona
USD 3.96 Chinese Fan Palm: This very popular fan palm has been loved since Victorian times and makes a great potted palm for the home or terrace. In warmer climates and over a period of years, it grows into a handsome, medium-sized tree with a slender trunk. The common name is something of a misnomer since it is actually native to Japan's Ryukyu Islands and Volcano Islands. The broad, lime-green leaves have elegantly drooping and curled tips, which gives rise to its other name, 'Fountain palm.' The fruits, which are produced in large numbers, are blue. Livistona chinensis shows a good tolerance to cold and frost and may be used in the sheltered temperate garden, but it will also happily accept hot and humid tropical conditions. This hardy palm is often sold at retail nurseries and home-improvement stores as an indoor tree for $60 - $75 each, plus tax. The palm can be dwarfed by growing it in a small pot, and it doesn't need much water, but the Chinese Fan Palm is also known to thrive very well outdoors in harsh environments. It's a great tree for both indoor and outdoor because it can grow up to 25 feet high, but it also makes an excellent potted plant in small spaces like your patio. Hardy in zones 9-11. This palm may be hardier than that. I have seen this palm in zone 8 for many years. Sheltered, these specimens routinely survive temperatures in the mid-twenties with no ill effect.
