Climbing Family
Would you let your just turned 2 yr old spend the night with family friends?
His 4 yr old brother will be there too and these friends have an 8 yr old who gets along with them both.
The problem is he still climbs into our bed at nights eventhough he starts off in his own bed.
He's familiar with these friends whom we see every couple of weeks and I trust them to cope, worse case we can go pick him up I guess but am very reluctant to let go.
I for one would not send the two Year Old along for the night. My three reasons are that 1; he's too young 2; your four yo and their eight yo would have a better time if they don't need to entertain the two yo and 3; if you feel that he may be disruptive to your friends evening or sleep then it is unfair of you to impose that disruption knowing the chances beforehand.
Now, if you're doing this because you and your mate want or need some private time or have other important plans then I would say it would be fine to send the Two Year along but tell your friends of your sons habit of crawling into bed with you and suggest, if the hour's not too late that when you and your mate are finished with what you need to do that you'll swing by and pick the two yo up.

Mina Lobata - 100 Seeds
