Because of the time to drill a hole Not applicable in indoor potted want to eat its just the bottom The soil is so big, I did a very rough

I'm in my garden Bleeding heart plant variety - they can shade a wet suit Good soil best. Cooler and you are happy with the blood of your Shadier place to put your heart and leaves and flowers, you get more Will. But after all the bleeding heart flowers through a dormant period And eventually leaves to go pale yellow, you will get wither, Will die. Even if the soil is still wet behind the leaves and leaf Do not turn yellow until you return it to remain dead Check. Then again, you just an inch or 2 above ground You can cut it. The following spring fed well, and it To keep moist, you must re-start the bean sprouts in a pot. It's probably good for it all, so many repot Idea a few years too, the size of the pot, but because of the soil. Bleeding heart is full of very rich soil of organic nutrients, the preferred Many plants such as leaf mulch from the forest, and a flattering Will tend to be all out of your potting medium Nutrients. I would hope that once the clay pot with fresh potting Replace the soil with a good idea even for a minute. Pot does not change If you can - your blood, the heart of the beautiful Enjoy!

Fringed Bleeding Heart 15 Seed-Dicentra-Shade Perennial
USD 4.99

DICENTRA: The common name of this plant, bleeding heart, comes from the heart-shaped flowers which have a longer inner petal that extends below the 'heart'. Pendulous flowers on slender stems grow from clumps of fernlike foliage in the spring. The flowering season is from early spring to mid summer . Fringed Bleeding Heart is a mound-shaped plant growing to about 18 inches with blue-green leaves of a very fine texture. The main bloom period occurs in early summer, but with good moisture and deadheading it will continue to bloom into the fall. This perennial prefers a partially shaded site and well-drained soil. Wet soils during the winter and dry soils during the summer lead to plant loss. The foliage of Fringed Bleeding Heart will not die back like that of old-fashioned bleeding heart. Hardy in zones 3-9.

OnlinePlantCenter Old Fashioned Bleeding Heart Plant D282CL
USD 17.96

Shop for Garden Center at The Home Depot. Herbaceous perennial easily grown in average, well drained soil in part shade to full shade. Individual leaves of the graceful, soft green, 2-3 ft. tall foliage are less deeply divided than other Dicentra species. In mid to late spring, arching stems are held above the foliage, bearing 1 in. long, rose pink, nodding, heart-shaped flowers with white protruding inner petals, giving rise to the common name of 'bleeding heart'. Usually goes dormant in mid-summer and dies back to ground. Use in shaded border and in woodland garden. Because of summer dormancy, plant among other developing perennial, such as hostas or ferns which will fill in the garden spot.

OnlinePlantCenter King Of Hearts Fern Leaf Bleeding Heart Plant D486CL
USD 22.96

Shop for Garden Center at The Home Depot. Long-lived, 8-10 in. tall x 12 in. wide, clumping perennial with coarse, lacy, soft gray-green leaves, but best known for its profusion of distinctive, large rose red, heart-shaped flowers that appear in late spring and repeat bloom until fall, if deadheaded. Plant does not go dormant in mid-summer, as long as soil is kept moist. Evenly moist, well drained, richly organic, loose soil is best; heavy clay soil is not ideal and will need to be amended at planting time with lots of compost, humus, or peat moss to promote water retention. Plant in part sun to shade in a protected location away from high winds and early frosts; north or east sides of building or on edge of woodlands are ideal. No need to cut back; stems are self-cleaning. Flowers will not develop without winter cold. Plants rarely need division; moving them may break brittle roots. Pair with coral bells, foam flower, monkshead, turtlehead, dropwort, astilbe, and hosta.
