Big Potted if you put a small Spider Plant is a big pot will it grow?
i have a Medium Size spide plant and the big pot and if i put him in it will he stretch out and grow?
That is a yes for sure. Believe it or not, spider plants are actually a spreading desert plant. When you go to take the plant out of it's current pot, you will notice thicker roots in certain places. If you were to break one of these off, cut & give it a squeeze, a jelly-like liquid would come out. If you really want the plant to fill out a pot, and it does not have to be the same plant, you could water it more frequently to induce runners to grow. From these runners, little White Flowers will bloom and then tiny baby plants. When the roots have grown enough, you can remove them from the runner stem, poke a hole in the soil of the pot around the edge, and plant it again. Eventually, enough growth of the original plant and the babies will fill in that pot, no problem. Just be careful where you place the plant; the runners can grow up to 6 ft long and the leaves are toxic to cats if they eat them.
Great Big Plants GBPP32 Potted Liquid Organic Compost, 32-Ounce USD 24.22
Potted liquid organic compost contains a wide spectrum of soil nutrients, including micronutrients such as iron and manganese. Due to its liquid form, organic compost is easier to use than common dry compost or manure. Eliminates the trouble and mess of homemade compost or compost tea and can be used when bag compost would be highly inefficient, such as on potted plants and mature trees and shrubs. Great Big Plants is also an organic soil conditioner that breaks up tightly bound particles in clay or silt soil, allowing roots to spread, water to drain and air to penetrate. Our organic compost introduces and feeds diverse life in the soil, including bacteria, insects and worms, all supporting plant growth. Tested by independent laboratory as being free of plant and animal pathogens.

Big Blue Muscari - Liriope - Lilyturf - Sun/Shade - Potted USD 3.99
Family: Liliaceae (lily family). Forms shorter tufted clumps with grassy evergreen foliage, dark violet blue flower spikes resembling hyacinths bloom late summer through fall. Liriope, also commonly called border grass is not actually a grass but a member of the lily family, a fact that inspires another of its common names, lilyturf. The dark green, ribbonlike foliage grows in length from 10 to 18 in (25-46 cm) and then recurves toward the ground to form rounded clumps. As the clumps mature they merge into a continuous carpet that resembles a plot of shaggy lawn grass. In summer, spikes of showy purple, flowers rise from the center of clumps. Flowers are followed by pea-sized black or white berries in autumn. Liriope spreads quite fast in reasonable soil, creating a substantial tuberous root mass. Liriope is a native of the shady forest floors of Eastern Asia including regions in China, Taiwan and Japan. This plant is a true survivor and will grow almost anywhere! Sun to shade. Hardiness: Zones 7-11. Use liriope to outline planting beds and to trace the route of paths and walkways. Because it is inexpensive and fast growing, this is an ideal shape defining plant in the landscape, traits that have earned it another common name border grass. Liriope is one of the best and most beautiful ground covers for shady gardens and even boasts summertime color. Because of its dense root mass, liriope is an excellent choice for controlling erosion on steep, shady slopes by stabilizing the soil and suppressing weed growth - no mowing either! The evergreen foliage is thick and luxurious and fallen leaves and debris tend to disappear within. Liriope is tough, easy to grow.

Arabian Jasmine Plant - Grand Duke of Tuscany - Fragrant - Potted - 4" Pot USD 11.99
Jasminum sambac 'Grand Duke of Tuscany'. Family: Oleaceae (olive family). Arabian jasmine is a bushy vine or scrambling shrub with shiny dark green leaves and fragrant little white flowers. Some of the evergreen leaves are in whorls of three and others are in opposite pairs. The long, angular shoots twist and twine as they clamber and sprawl over and through any support they can find. The waxy snow white flowers are about 1 in (2.5 cm) across, borne in clusters of 3-12, and intensely fragrant. They fade to pink as they age. Arabian jasmine blooms throughout the summer - and almost continuously in warm climates. The fruits are small black berries, but are seldom formed in cultivation. By far, the most common form of Arabian jasmine in cultivation is 'Grand Duke of Tuscany' (sometimes called 'Flore Pleno'), which has double flowers that look like miniature gardenias. Expect an Arabian jasmine to grow no more than 6-10 ft (1.8-3.1 m) high and just as wide in frostfree areas; smaller when it has to regrow from roots following a winter freeze. Arabian jasmine likes full sun to partial shade.Moisture: Supply plenty of water during the summer growing season, but reduce watering in winter. Hardiness: USDA Zones 9 - 11. Arabian jasmine is often grown in a pot, on the patio or deck in summer and brought indoors in winter. Prune frequently to maintain a desirable shape. In frostfree climes, grow this fragrant beauty in mixed hedges or allow to sprawl in masses or as a specimen plant, pruned to a compact shrub. Here at the Christman homestead, we have an Arabian jasmine in a big pot on the front porch - where we can smell its sweet perfume whenever we walk by. The plant you will receive is growing in a 4" pot. Makes a great house plant!
