What does the packet mean when it says..?
"Pinch off stem tips once in early summer to encourage bushy growth"
This is an Aster (Crego Mix) flower... so, is the packet right? and what do i do?

Hey Kendall,
After the plant begins to grow and has several levels of leaves, pinch the top leaves (little ones) off. Essentially you will be pruning the plant to encourage growth in the lower parts of the plant, to make it more bushy. This really works.
